I'm in the process of organically de-weeding a spot in the garden with one of my keen workers. We'll be planting the seedlings I'm busy nurturing now (2 days old) as well as planting new seeds & harvesting the spinach I already have for the local creche for vulnerable children.

We work from home and already have a vegetable patch and herb garden. My daughter loves that we grow things that we eat in our own garden. Because it is the height of summer, we will look to planting something that will do well in winter, possibly some onions or potatoes to regenerate the soil for next season. We'll also be planting some seeds from a blue pumpkin that we got from the organic market. It was so delicious and pumpkins are so bountiful and nourishing. |
